It is very useful with regards to combating the lethargy, and general ‘Sunday afternoon’ feeling of dreary cloudy days. It produces a white light, which though very intense, is not actually glaring or distracting as it has a heavily frosted diffuser.

The SAD lamp is also very sturdily built, surviving a recent accidental drop of about two feet without a mark or any broken tubes. Its compact design makes it very easy to stow into small corners when not in use, and though the top end does get warm when it’s been on for a while, this is never too hot to touch.

The LitePod SAD light is excellent value. It is light but not flimsy and easy to carry from room to room. This is a marvelous invention as it works very well from the back corner of the desk for an hour after school and seems to lighten the mood considerably.

It is well worth the considerable sum involved. This SAD light therapy lamp is a very well constructed and designed, made from high quality plastics throughout.

It is small enough to be unobtrusive when in use, is easily portable and it would look equally at home in a swanky modern office, or a normal living room environment.  

One user complained about one of the rubber feet fell off, and the SAD lamp actually holds two tubes, which, according to the manufacturer’s recommendation require replacing every 3 years. Otherwise the SAD light box lose their effectiveness.
